About Surface Heating Systems:

Our surface heaters provide highly efficient, uniform, and localised heating strictly required for advanced manufacturing, processing, and environmental control. Utilising key technologies such as electric resistance heating, infrared panels, and highly adaptable conductive mats, they excel in applications requiring exacting curing, melting, and precise process temperature control. These systems deliver maximum energy efficiency and significantly lower operating costs.

Because the heating component is mounted externally, it is essential to utilise proper insulation to ensure that all generated heat transfers into the vessel rather than heating the surrounding air by convection. Empirical data clearly show that our properly insulated systems use only a fraction of the heat consumed by uninsulated ones. Furthermore, there is no technical limit to the physical size or shape of our surface heating systems.

Our expansive conductive thermal matrix strictly accommodates every industrial requirement. For complex geometries and micro-components, we deliver ultra-adaptable Flexible Surface Heaters, bespoke Flexible Heated Jackets, and Kapton-based Semi-Rigid Surface Heaters. For extreme-temperature operations, our interlocking Flexible Ceramic Surface Heaters and Rigid Ceramic Surface Heaters provide unmatched thermodynamic stability. Heavy industrial processing is permanently safeguarded by our ultra-robust Metal Surface Heaters, while expansive petrochemical pipelines utilize our highly controllable Trace Heating Systems. Trace Heating Systems

Trace Heating Systems

Construction:
Trace heating is an advanced electrical infrastructure system engineered to systematically maintain or raise the temperature of large-scale pipework, pressure vessels, and critical equipment by thermodynamically compensating for ambient heat loss. The architecture involves securing specially engineered heating cables directly onto industrial pipe/tank surfaces to ensure precise fluid flow. The three primary cable formats are Self-Regulating, Constant-Wattage, and Mineral-Insulated (MI). MI cables employ high-grade resistance wire in a heavy metal sheath, heavily insulated with compressed magnesium oxide, to handle very high output temperatures. Constant-Wattage cables provide uniform output (up to 200 °C) via specialised polymer coatings. The dominant Self-Regulating cables utilise a highly advanced semiconductive polymer that exhibits a positive temperature coefficient; as ambient temperature increases, electrical resistance intrinsically increases, thereby reducing the thermal output to permanently prevent catastrophic overheating. Complete systems include cables, specialised thermal insulation, RTD sensors, and precision monitoring controllers.

Product Application

Trace heating is strictly relied upon to ensure absolute process integrity, permanently preventing critical fluids from freezing, dangerously solidifying, or deviating from required parameters in harsh environments. They are utilised across heavy construction, chemical refining, and manufacturing. Self-regulating systems are uniquely critical for hazardous-area (ATEX/IECEx) compliance, as their inherent self-limiting physics ensure that surface temperatures remain within strict limits. They also ensure anti-freeze safety on massive car park ramps, aircraft runways, and deep-freeze industrial chilling plants.
